Pursuant to section 31 of the Dog Act 1976, the City of Mandurah hereby gives local public notice of its intention to specify a dog exercise area on the Central and Southern ovals of Lakelands Park (Lakelands District Open Space).
The Council considered this matter at its meeting held on 23 March 2021. The proposed specification is as follows:
Current Hours:
Dogs must be 'On Leash' at all times.
Proposed Hours:
The central and southern ovals of Lakelands Park (Lakelands District Open Space) are to be specified as dog exercise areas only after 5:00pm and before 8:00am daily, except where active sport is in progress. Dogs are required to be on leash at all other times.
